...cos it's nearly
time!
My ex has the house, the kids, the animals and my garden and all the work that goes with it, all to himself for two and a half days. Lucky him. While me and me best mate Kirsty go to T4 on the beach! Can't be bad, can he? (Long story-may take a book! (Sorry, Family Affairs lady, it nearly did, didn't it?))
And, unfortunately, there were no campsites or B & B's with vacancies left. So the only alternative (aw, shucks!) was a quite posh guest house. Well, it's posh to us, anyway! Costs enough to call it posh, too.

can't wait!
Btw, I am delighted and flattered to see that a few people are actively reading my blog. I never would have thought it! (Even though I spend half the night reading other people's blogs!). That's great, thanks folks.
I'm not sure why I began it, just to amuse my family and friends, I guess. A kind of on-line scrap- and joke-book! Although it has amused me for lots of reasons. I do try and get a chuckle out of it for myself which keeps me going with it even if no one had looked at it ever. But I'm glad people have. Here's hoping to keep on amusing...
Cos where would we all be without a laugh?

...our dog. She's 11. She's pretty, isn't she? We love her so very much...
...until she rolled in badger s**t today and now she stinks.
Really badly.
Get outta my room, Sal!
...but I've got loads to tell!
I've spent far too long surfing aimlessly yet again. But it has been worth it cos I've found so many really good blogs the last couple of weeks I've had to make a list and share them. These folks make the world go round the right way! Find them under 'Bloggage' below right.
And, just when I thought I couldn't improve my marks any more, I got...
Don't know how that happened I'm sure. I only usually expect 70% in anything so when I get more it's a real Brucie Bonus, but this is something else. I must be doing something right!
Also.....

...the garden is beginning to take shape as well. Peas growing, tomatoes, peppers, lettuces-for us and the 3 guinea pigs (they eat more food than the dog!!), carrots, parsnips, spring onions and swede. All sprouting well.
The only problem is that there's a dog (not mine) that keeps using our garden as it's lavvy in the middle of the night. It's not just that it does it in our garden...it ALWAYS finds a nice plant to aim over and, BULLSEYE, one hundred and eeeeiiiighty right ON (not near, or by) my sodding rhubarb. My thyme has also been a traumatised victim of this creature. This is no Yorkshire Terrier or Jack Russell, either. No, no.
We are talking Alsatian...
...at the very least.
I would even go as far as to say Great Dane! Get my drift?
...for something daft to happen so I can laugh at it!

Oi, you kids, did you write this?
...when I've been really organized about it for once and washed, dried and folded 'all' the school uniforms by Saturday tea-time, does at least one more item always appear on Sunday night?
